Loop the loop!

Event number 10 in the Beech House Dental Practice Time Trial League was a 14-mile TT with a 2-loop route starting on the A168 and heading via Marton, Aldborough, Boroughbridge and back on the A168.

14 riders from Harrogate Nova, Moonglu and Harrogate Tri Club set off at 1-minute intervals.

The weather was cool with a breeze coming from the west.

Ben Pease (Moonglu) was fastest rider with a time of 30:37 on a time trial bike, breaking the men’s overall records. Next fastest rider Duncan Mullier (Nova) in 33:31 on a time trial bike with Rob Senior third on a road bike in 34:10. Tilly Bland (Moonglu) produced a creditable time of 39:35 in the ladies group.

Next week’s event is the 18-mile TT 2-loop route starting at Milby, heading to Cundall then Norton-le-Clay and returning in the direction of Boroughbridge and Milby.
