Mullier takes the win!

The 7th event in the 2024 Beech House Dental Practice Time Trial League was the 25 miler on the A168 near Boroughbridge. The route starts from Boroughbridge, heading south to Walshford where the riders turn and head north all the way up to Dishforth before turning round and heading south to the finish at the Roecliffe roundabout.

The weather was warm and sunny with a light westerly wind. 11 riders from Harrogate Nova and Moonglu took to the start line, on a mix of TT bikes and road bikes.

Duncan Mullier  (Nova) was first in a time of 56:51 on a TT bike. In 2nd place was Rob Senior (Nova) in 58:55 setting the vets road bike record with Dave Mann (Moonglu) in 3rd place in 1:00:30 on a TT bike. Richard Buckle wins the Thew Cup (Nova handicap).

Thanks to the support team who enable each event to take place – timekeepers, number-takers, signage, and marshals. A particular thanks go to Margaret and Vaughan Caswell, Warren Considine, Mark Turnock and Paul Coyle.

The next event is the 12-mile Ripon TT on 26th June at 7.00pm.
